Seating 135 travellers in 680 square metres of space, it has shares the same clean, contemporary design as its larger Brisbane sibling to the north. There are four distinct zones that make sense for people travelling at different times and for different reasons, and two of these don't have televisions, making for open space with a sense of flow and easy movement. The lounge is right after security, on the left and up the stairs by gate 1 - indeed, sometimes it can be hard to get to the lounge with the queue of people boarding their flight. In the lounge the main food area, and the bar are on the inner side of the lounge, while on the outside there is a great view of the runway. At the far end of the lounge, around the corner, are some computers, and there is also a private meeting room with a whiteboard, conference call facility and seating for eight people.
