Bordeaux Airport Guide

Bordeaux Airport is a large airport serving most of the west of France. Aéroport de Bordeaux-Mérignac to give it its correct title is 12 km (7 miles) west of Bordeaux.

Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport has three terminals: A, B and the oddly sounding Billi, which is the low cost terminal for Ryanair and Easyjet.

British Airways and oneworld are in Terminal A. Air France and skyteam are in terminal B.

There is a bank on the Departures level of Terminal B, while ATMs are on the arrival level of Terminal B.

There is a post office in Terminal A.

Travellers should know that many bus, limousine and shuttle bus services operating to and from Bordeaux Airport usually require pre-booking.

Although not present at the moment, shortly the tramway system will link the airport with the city centre.

Bordeaux airport car parking is quite good.

The airport has four car parks, P0, P1, P2 and the long-term P4.

PR is a short-term car park close to the terminal, with free parking for the first 30 minutes. P1 and P2 are public car parks; P2 is a medium-term car park.
