United Airlines United Club C16 Lounge

At Chicago O'Hare International Airport, United has four United Clubs for members, their guests, and Star Alliance Gold travellers.

A new Polaris Lounge for long-haul business class travellers was built by closing the once-expansive Terminal 1 Concourse C area for two years. The United Club close to gate C16 eventually reopened in January 2018, although with a significantly smaller space. Even while the lounge has a fresh look, it can only hold roughly 100 people, significantly fewer than the needs of United's busiest concourse at O'Hare.

One-time passes are not accepted at this location due to capacity limitations. A bigger and newer club is now being planned.

The United Club at Chicago O'Hare is close to gate C16 and features the company's recognisable white tones, sleek lines, and open layout. The ensemble is contemporary and overly functional, yet it also lacks any flavour and soul.

The Polaris Lounge kitchen and amenities are very next to the United Club, which is sandwiched between them. The layout of the room is not particularly appealing, with a buffet hidden in a nook, a bar hidden in a recessed alcove, and a small, crowded dining area.

Despite the club's superb tarmac views and two window walls, the layout of the room restricts the amount of natural light that can enter.
