Saint Lucia Airport Lyanola Lounge
The Saint Lucia Airport Lyanola Lounge is better than you might expect for a small airport, in a rather down at heel terminal.
A recent revamp has brigtened the place up a bit - it's added new chairs and a lovely pattern of wall paper.
However, it still remains a small lounge, and when the British Airways flight leaves, it can get packed.
Saint Lucia Lyanola Lounge review
The Saint Lucia Airport Lyanola Lounge is in effect a small rectangular room with a high wooden ceiling, and windows along one side, however it punches above it's weight, and now it has had a small revamp, it is looking brighter and cleaner than it was before. The old white sofa and brown furniture has gone.
Food
Small snacks, all on a small printed menu on the table, including chicken on sticks, dips, soup, sandwiches (tuna or cheese), fish fritters, quiche, fruit, and cake.
Packets of crisps are available at the bar.
Bar
The bar in the Saint Lucia Lyanola Lounge is really good, with lots of spirits such as Smirnoff vodka and Gordon's gin, and a barman who loves to mix cocktails. The selection of spirits is quite expensive, and all drinks are complimentary.
There are a few bottles of wine, but it's not really a wine type place.
If you are into beer, the local Pitcon beer is the only one available, in bottles.
