Gulf Air Gold Bahrain Lounge

The Gulf Air Gold Lounge Bahrain is great, and much larger than you might think.

Brand new, clean crisp and modern, the Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge in Bahrain is rather like the lobby of a nice four star hotel.

There is plenty of space, but it can get packed, mainly because economy class passengers can pay their way in.

Bahrain Gulf Air Gold lounge review

Gulf Air's brand new Falcon Gold Lounge opened along with the airport terminal in January 2021. The lounge measures in at 6,500 sq ft, with a capacity for 400 passengers.

As you enter, right beside reception is a small overflow enclave, although this is rather a lonely and exposed place to sit unless the lounge is packed.

The whole lounge is coloured in beige. The vibe is decidedly minimalist, with mainly beige sandstone tiles, but with beige floors, beige seats, and the odd slab of beige carpet, however it still maintains that air of luxury.

However, it is large, and well worth a walk around, with plenty of seating options, including armchairs, two-top dining tables, recliners for napping, even a couple of massage chairs.

Further in, the lounge splits into an L shape. If you turn the corner, so to speak, there is a TV area with six recliners, all of which have headphones.

Food

There is plenty of hot food, with a tray of 10 different types if pasta and rice type dishes, with veges and chicken.

Pasta and pizzas are made to order, with a pizza oven in the lounge.

Bar

Gulf Air of course have a very good bar in the middle of the second half of the lounge.

There is beer and wine served, and even a fairly good Champagne.

Beer in bottles includes Amstel Light, Heineken, Budweiser and Coors.

The fully staffed bar is of course happy to mix up cocktails on demand.

Business Facilities

There is a small business centre near the entrance with five PC, and printing facilities.

Power sockets are in the small little side tables, with the same plugs type as the UK and Singapore. Every power outlets also has a USB charging port.

Bathrooms

In lounge, which showers, which are very good.
