Virgin Australia The Club Melbourne Lounge
Virgin Australia's The Club Melbourne, is Virgin Australia's inner sanctum; a private lounge you can't buy access to, or indeed gain access with Frequent Flyer miles. It is invite only, and definitely the elite of the elite, if you are flying domestically.
In normal times there is free flowing Australian sparkling wine, and hot a la carte dining. Alas, at the moment, catering is severely reduced.

Even finding the Melbourne Virgin Australia The Club lounge is a bit of a mission. The unmarked entrance to The Club is only for those in the know.
Head down the corridor past the normal lounge after check in but before security, and you'll find it with a small almost unmarked door to the left.
Food
A limited range of food at present, but shortly to expand to cooked to order food once again.Right now you have to order via the app, and can only get two variants of sandwiches (chicken or veggie), biscuits, snacks, fruit and other small bites.
These include bowls of crisps which are brought out to you, and small slabs of cheese and crackers, wrapped in a packet.
Bar
The bar opens right on the dot of 12, but again you have to order via the app, rather than approaching the bar.There is Great Northern, Pacifico beer, or 4 pines pale ale.
Wine comes with three versions of white, and two of red.
