American Airlines Admirals Club Chicago Lounge
Except for the Flagship Lounge, which welcomes premium passengers and Platinum members travelling to international destinations, the American Airlines Admirals Club Chicago Lounge is the main lounge for American passengers at O'Hare. It is located at the intersection of Concourses H and K.
Even though the club had a renovation in 2018, the Flagship Lounge eventually took the place of the nearby conference facility, which had been phased out, there was little change to the facilities.
There is a fully staffed bar, indeed two of them, and basic snacks. The standout though is the view of the airfield.
Chicago American Airlines Admirals Club lounge review
At the intersection of Concourses H and K in Terminal 3 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, the Admirals Club provides a full range of services for both local and foreign travellers.
On the third floor of the terminal structure of Chicago O'Hare Airport Concourses H/K is the Admirals Club. The lower concourse level is where check-in takes place, and it is normally quick and easy. Visitors are guided to the Flagship Lounge or the Admirals Club, both of which are accessible by elevator, depending on their status and itinerary.
The upper-level lobby is impressive due to its large size and open layout. In order to maximise views and daylight, the club's numerous sections and facilities are located along the building's perimeter. The lobby, which has customer service desks, serves as a hub connecting these locations.
The complex features American's most recent club design, a sleek, earthy ensemble with clean lines that occasionally adds a bright pop of colour.
Once you leave the centre, it could take you some time to get your bearings. The space initially gives off the impression of being a bit of a maze, with a series of seating places, hallways, and nooks. In addition, it's crowded, and the idea of a huge central lobby forces people into smaller sections on the edge of the lounge. It pays to look around to locate a calmer spot because the bar area is frequently jam-packed.

Traditional individual seats, tabletop sitting, dining tables, and booths are all available as seating alternatives. Side consoles, power outlets, and USB connections are available on the majority of seats.
Several of the high-backed, semi-private seats that are distinctive to American Airlines come with a side table and an integrated power outlet. There are also a few recliners available for visitors, but they are in plain view and, while comfortable, offer little seclusion. Although some places are marked as cell-phone free, American Airlines has resisted creating a darker sleeping area, maybe to promote turnover.
Families benefit from a mother's room, as well as a well-appointed room for the little ones, with a TV, toys, and video games.
Due to its sheer size and awkward layout, however, the lounge feels more impersonal than exclusive, and it does get painfully crowded at peak times. If you qualify for access to the Flagship Lounge, skip the Admirals Club for slightly more exclusive surroundings and a generous hot buffet. When traveling domestically, the albeit more modest Admirals Club at Terminal 2 Concourse G might be quieter.
Food
There are snack and coffee stations scattered around the club, but for the widest selection, head to the bar area. The limited menu consists of soups, breads and dips, salads, crudites, and snacks.
The biggest distinction between the lower level Flagship Lounge and the Admirals Club is that the former is outfitted similarly but offers a full hot buffet for travellers flying in international business class, and is really very good indeed.
Business Facilities
There is no longer a full-service business centre, and the Admirals Club offers little other than free wifi.Bathrooms
