Delta Airlines Skyclub T3 Los Angeles Lounge

Opened in June 2017 as short term stop gap, as part of Delta's move to Terminals 2 and 3, the new Delta Sky Club at Los Angeles airport Terminal 3 and provides comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, as well as complimentary snacks and alcoholic beverages.

However, it is firstly, very small, and secondly split into two parts. There is the old footprint of the former Virgin America Loft - which is basically just a corridor and a small bar. And the other side of the rotunda, which is somewhat larger but still crammed in into the available space.

Los Angeles Delta Airlines Skyclub T3 lounge review

If you've been to some of the great airline lounges in the world, be prepared to be massively disappointed by the Delta Airlines Skyclub T3 Los Angeles Lounge.

It is a very much makeshift lounge, before the whole terminal is demolished. Indeed, Delta used to have a fantastic lounge over in the Terminal 5. However, that alas was handed over to American Airlines just after it finished a refurb, and instead you've left with three possibilities over on the other side of the airport.

In Terminal 2 there are actually two Delta Skyclubs. Both are poor, but for preference I'd take the old Virgin America Loft - which is on the left. Here, at least, there is a full sized bar, and a tiny bit more space. In effect you walk into an area that looks like a normal Delta Sky Club, but isn't. Indeed, the first room you come to is the only thing Delta about it.

Further around is a small corridor with some food.

Then there is a lighter brighter area, with the bar on the left, and seats along by the window. And that's about it.

It can get absolutely packed in the mornings.

Delta is planning a new SkyClub between Terminals 2 and 3 which is projected to opened in 2021.

On the other side is a much much smaller lounge, which is just about wiggle through if there is enough space.

It has a high bench to sit at and look at the view.

Further around is a small island bar, and drinks are on the other side.

Food

Both sides have OK, but not quite decent food, plus a a charcuterie board, a build-your-own taco bar, and small spread of salad.

Bar

Very small, but free pour wine.

Business Facilities

Free wifi. There is no space for any computers.

Bathrooms

In lounge.

Access

Skyclub memebrship, DeltaOne International or Transcontinental, Skyteam Elite (not DL Elite), International Business or First on DL or Skyteam, American Express Platinum card or Virgin Australia Gold or Platinum on any Delta flight.

Delta also operates another Sky Club in Terminal 2. While Terminals 2 and 3 are not connected airside, Delta operates a shuttle bus between the two terminals (allow at least 20 minutes to switch terminals.)
