United Airlines Club Honolulu Lounge
The large light bright United Club Honolulu Lounge is one of the high spots of Hawaii: literally, it is upstairs with great views, and is one of the best lounges in Honolulu.Now, that's not saying a lot. It is very much an old style United Club, with old chairs, basic food, and a very simple bar. But, it's far better than some of the other lounges, and in the sunshine looks great.

The abundance of sunlight and views of the runway at the Honolulu United Airlines UnitedClub lounge really go a long way to make up for the lounges numerous shortcomings.Once through security go all the way to the G gates, and up the escalator, wiggle around the circular landing, and the lounge is on the left, with a small reception desk.

The lounge itself is large, cute, and with great floor to ceiling windows allowing a spectacular view of the gate, the taxiway, and the mountains in the distance. There are two distinct parts to the lounge, with a circular lounging area when you first walk in, with good squashy arm chairs, while to the left is the bar area.
Indeed of all the lounges at Honolulu airport The United Club has a decent layout with plenty of room to find a private nook or sit around in the communal bar area.
Alas, the lounge is quite old, and the furniture has seen a lot of traffic. It is due for an update at some point, but the general Hawaiian surfing theme and the colourful if old-fashioned furniture. Don't miss the display of shells.

To the left of the bar is a snack area, but it's pretty poor. There are a few cheese slabs, and packets of crisps, but that's about it.Bar
It is the Bar area that the United Airlines Club Honolulu Lounge is best known for. It is one of the best on the domestic network (but then again, that isn't really saying much these days). The bar has a long counter with a TV above it, or you can take your drink to the opposite wall and overlook the runway. There is the usual United system of free basic drinks, but if you want decent spirits you have to pay for them.Business Facilities
