American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge
The American Airlines Admirals Club at Boston Logan airport features the latest interior design from the company: a contemporary, bright, yet slightly chilly, and strikingly uniform setting. Outside of the foyer, where there are striking light fixtures, vibrant colours, and angular designs, the decor is much more subdued. The predominant colours are white and earth tones, with sporadic flashes of vivid red. With cathedral ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, the club seems open and welcoming, and nearly every seat offers magnificent tarmac views.
American Airlines Admirals Club lounge review
Privacy and space efficiency are balanced in the design. The lounge was undoubtedly planned to accommodate as many seats as possible, but transparent walls and low separators create semi-private areas while still allowing enough of natural light to flood the room.
Traditional lounge chairs with side consoles, community tables, tabletop seating with a view of the airport grounds, and dining tables and booths are all options for visitors. Although the built-in shelf hardly has room for a full-size laptop, solo travellers are likely to prefer American's distinctive high-backed seats since they provide increased privacy.
There are numerous USB and power outlets. Wireless charging stations are also commonly found in consoles and side tables.
Go to the lobby area if you need a little rest or more privacy. A nook with three recliners is discretely nestled in next to the business centre. And unlike at many other Admirals Clubs, they are genuinely tucked away from the masses in dimly lighted areas. Alternatively, the main seating area is next to a dim TV room, which could also serve as an informal snooze area.
Walk to the back of the room where you'll discover a large dining space, communal tables, additional lounge-style seating, and the bar for a livelier, more energetic atmosphere. Everyone can find a seat because there are so many possibilities. And even as the room gets crowded, there always appears to be a secluded nook or corner.
Food
According to usual Admirals Club norms, the food selection is minimal. Breakfast tacos, a salad bar, snack towers, soups, fruit, and cookies are frequently available to guests. Clam soup is also offered at mealtimes in a tribute to New England, along with the occasional indulgence like avocado toast. It would be an overstatement to refer to the selection as a lunch or dinner buffet, and foreign business class travellers who have visited Flagship Lounges at American's hub airports are sure to be dissatisfied. Consider grabbing a decent dinner at one of the airport's many restaurants if you intend on sleeping for the duration of the brief flight to London.Bar
A Coca-Cola Freestyle machine offers a virtually limitless variety of soda at the push of a button on the beverage front. Two hydration stations with flavoured water, ice tea, espresso makers, and a selection of syrups are also available to customers. Visit the bar for adult beverages, where house wines and well drinks are free. Although international travellers are given two drink coupons, premium beverages have a price.Business Facilities
There are two conference rooms, and two PCs.Bathrooms
Showers in the lounge, but there is often a queue to use these in the evenings.Access
