Yorkshire Leeds Bradford Lounge
The Yorkshire Lounge at Leeds Bradford Airport is the cheapest of the three lounges at the airport, and also generally the busiest. The two are not unconnected. While British Airways and KLM passengers head to the White Rose Lounge, cheaper passengers on FlyBE and AerLingus almost inevitably used the Yorkshire Lounge.
Leeds Bradford Yorkshire lounge review
The Leeds Bradford Airport Yorkshire lounge is a pretty standard generic regional airport lounge, with only some basic snacks and a bar.The lounge is a lounge of two halves. Business and Leisure.
The Leisure side is light bright and open, with windows overlooking the terminal, a decent runway view, and some relatively comfortable seats. However, this is the Children's side.
The Business side has no windows at all and is pretty gloomy. But it's restricted to solo passengers.
Food
The food in the Leeds Bradford Yorkshire Lounge is pretty simple, with a small buffet in the corner. It has a salad bar, with just three bowls of different salads, pasta, often a quiche or two, pigs in blankets, cheese and ham. There is also hot soup.
Cheese and biscuits, and crisps complete the options.
Bar
There is a small staffed bar in the Yorkshire Lounge Leeds Bradford on the Leisure side, with a barman who pours basic larger from the taps at the bar of the small white counter. There are charges for cocktails and some of the more exotic spirits, but basic house white and red is free.
On the business side, there is a small unstaffed bar - well, really more a small tiny fridge - with just basic wine and beer.
Champagne is available - at £60 a bottle.
