Lufthansa Business Class Munich Lounge Non-Schengen H24
The best and most polite way of describing the Munich Lufthansa Business Class lounge in the Non-Schengen area at gate H24 is that it is there, and it is a lounge.
With that, comes a lounge that is small, frequently packed, and has bland furniture, which is odd as it's also Lufthansa's main Business Class lounge at it's main hub, in the non-Schengen long haul area.
The Lufthansa Business Lounge Munich is a perfectly nice lounge though, if you get to it at a quiet time. Lufthansa is very consistent with its lounges, and this lounge is no exception. The lounge is modern, though sterile, with a variety of seating options, and a pretty good selection of self-serve food and drinks.
Munich Lufthansa Business Class lounge Non-Schengen H24 review
As one of the older Business Class lounges at Munich, the H24 lounge does the job, but could be vastly better. Indeed there is a much newer Lufthansa Business Lounge near gate K11.
You access the Lufthansa Senator Munich Lounge off the central spine of the terminal in the Non-Schengen area by gate H23 & H24, and then up the side corridor next to the security checkpoint.
In the lobby, turn right after the sliding door, past the long rack of luggage lockers, and Business lounge is at the end. Straight ahead is the much better Munich Senator Lounge with it's own bar.
Meanwhile, the Lufthansa Business Class Munich Lounge as soon as you enter has a kind of 'meh' feeling about it. Long and thin, with only a few outside windows, there is also a great photowall just by the entrance of a snowscape in the Alps, just to tie down where you are. Indeed, there are three recliners opposite this image, which add to this being the best part of the lounge.
It goes downhill from here, with a central divider of plant pots separating some high dining tables and a long long bench seat along one wall. As you go further into the lounge there are dividers of Lufthansa' classic 'carpet fingers'.
Food
The food selection includes all kinds of fresh bread (rolls, toast, croissants, etc.), scrambled eggs, cherry tomatoes, meatballs, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, and sweets. There's also a freezer with ice cream, which seems to be something that Lufthansa has rolled out to most of its lounges over time.
