Emirates Frankfurt Lounge
The Emirates Lounge Frankfurt is a delight, with all the facilities you expect at an Emirates outstation.
True, the lounge is quite old, being opened in July 2006.
Frankfurt Emirates lounge review
As you enter at reception, turn right, and there is a corridor with an odd half height glass fence.
Over these is a good seating area, with views, alas, of the car park.
To your right is a newspaper rack.
Then, carry on, past the large wooden pillars, where the walkway splits into a Y. There are some plants here, and the lounge gets much larger, with more seats.
Here is the dining area, with a refectory area at the far end.
This Lounge features 148 seats (54 in the restaurant, 86 in the lounge and 8 in the business-centre). At 620 square-meters, it's quite large.
At the opposite end to the front desk the lounge features an extensive buffet with several hot and cold options, salads, deserts, chilled (soft) drinks and alcohol.
Food
There is a great selection of food in the Emirates Frankfurt Lounge, with six or seven hot dishes. The salad bar is the usual round fridge, with small plates.
The cake selection is worthy of note, as is the selection of German cheeses.
