Canopy VIP Lounge Nice Airport

The Canopy Lounge Nice Airport, also known as the VIP lounge RIVIERA (after it's former name, Nice Airport Salon Riviera), is an upmarket but still pay-in, generic airport lounge at Nice Airport on the Non-Schengen side.

As such it deals with long haul non-European flights, and flights to the UK, and has become the defacto British Airways lounge Nice Airport, along with the Nice Qatar Airways Lounge.

It's pretty swish, with a beachy kind of vibe, and decent slouchy chairs, plus the famous object d'art in the middle - a white sculpture with a palm tree growing out.

To find the Canopy Lounge at Nice Airport, in Terminal 1, once past passport control take the stairs or lift on the right side of the main departure hall, the lounge is located on the Mezzanine Level.

The VIP lounge Rivera at Terminal 1 Nice Airport has lots of natural light, but it can get busy, and the tables slowly start to pile up with plates and cups during the day. In the evening it can be hot, particularly when the Qatar and BA flights are about to leave.

Food

Hot food is basically mini pizza slices.

There are sandwiches & baguettes are available all day, along with madeleines.

Basic snacks too, including nuts, and olive cake, doughnuts and chouquettes.

However, don't head to this lounge assuming it'll have great pre flight dining. It doesn't and its all a bit disappointing.

Bar

Wine beer and spirits in the fridge.

Only some basic spirits, including gin and ricard and cognac.

If you ask for a glass of champagne at reception they'll give you one.

Business Facilities

There are a few power sockets in the floor to recharge your mobile.

Good, fast wifi.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms in lounge, but a little tired. No showers.
