SAS Scandinavian Copenhagen Lounge
The SAS Scandinavian Lounge at Copenhagen is a lovely small intimate lounge, but still with plenty of Scandinanvian style: think a bling version of Ikea.

Firstly though make sure you can access the Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Lounge. If you are a Star Alliance Gold member you can enter it, but if you are 'only' in Business Class, you have to use the SAS Business Class Lounge, which is downstairs. Food and drinks are better upstairs. It is a rare case of those who pay more, may get less.
The Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Lounge entrance is located on the concourse of the D pier, and directly opposite where the main C pier branches off: conveniently, it is also directly opposite where passport control for non-Schengen destinations is located: you can stay in the lounge, and wait until the passport queue has gone down. Lounges are on the Schengen side of security, which means accessing them on two non-Schengen flights means going through passport control twice (and security, into Schengen, once). Then again, most of the shopping is on this side too.
Access is through the main lounge entrance, but then once past the rather fierce lady on reception go right, and up the stairs over the main lounge, past the giant model of an A330, and then up to the top to be greeted by a strange orange budda, and a mobile phone cubicle.
The main part of the Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Loungeis up on this 'balcony', which overlooks those who are "just" in business class: there are plenty of seats, but they are widely spaced, giving a light, airy feel.
On the left of the balcony is the food and drinks area, then through an arch there are more computers and sofa areas with potted plants, like a comfy sitting room. This area has lots of light, and there are big squashy arm chairs and good library with design books. Meeting rooms are here too, and just in case it's too far to go back to the food area, there is a small bar with a beer tap.
Back in the main lounge, and curing right then doubling back over the entrance is an area that was the smoking room: now it is an overspill, and it has an OK view of the runway - it is one of the few places where you can see outside. It also has a small bar area on a compact sideboard.
The Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Lounge at the top of the stairs sometimes runs out of seats: as a result there is also a sub-lounge that has opened downstairs, close to the main desk, although it can be a pain taking your food & drinks down here.
Food
Most people come up to the Scandinavian lounge for the better food and bar service compared to the SAS Business Lounge..This is to the left of the computer archway, and seems like a Nordic kitchen.
The great bit about the food in the Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Lounge is the salad bar: there is very good salad with ham and cheese, plus in the evening there are some hot dishes with pasta, chicken, beef, and rice.
On the sideboard beside the bar there are deserts including a very good carrot and cheese cake.
SAS customers who are in a hurry can now enjoy the 'On the Go' food bar if you are visiting the lounge a short time before departure.
Bar
There is the same beer on draft as downstairs, but better wine - in bottles! White is Reisling and Savignon Blanc, while the Red is Australian Grenache and Italian Vignia Del Mono. There are even bottles of Tuborg, Carlsberg, and Guinness in the fridge.
Spirits are hidden away behind a silver door that is only opened in the afternoon, but feature a good selection of Contreau, Bacardi, Bombay Saphire, Campari, VSOP, Absolut Vodka, and 3 types of Whisky.

Business Facilities
The iMac computers in the Copenhagen SAS Scandinavian Lounge are better than in the Business Lounge: they are slightly faster. There is free wifi. Newspapers are very poor upstairs: it can pay to go down to the main business lounge for them.
