Menzies Prague Lounge
The Prague Menzies Aviation Lounge is the secondary lounge in the Schengen terminal (for inter-Europe flights).
Much smaller than the Prague Airport Erste Premier Lounge, it is also generally much quieter.
There is a small buffet area with soup and sandwiches, two small seating areas, a small bar with wine and spirits, and a rather sterile atmosphere.
Prague Menzies lounge review
The Prague Menzies Aviation Lounge is basically two small rooms, with a corridor linking them, which is also the bar and buffet area. And that's it. However, it is the main pay-in lounge at Prague Airport, and one of only two in the Schengen side, and as such it ranks as OK, but not exceptional. To find the Prague Menzies Lounge, once after Check-in and Security Control, turn right and take the lift or stairs to the upper floor. The lounge is located immediately to the right.
Reception has a small magazine rack beside it, and an area of seats directly under the scrutiny of reception. Further around the is bar area, with an odd island bench which has no seats and is totally unappealing. Then further on is a big square box of a room, with sofas and a TV, and that's it.
Food
There is a small fridge with a tray of sandwiches on the top shelf. Options are salami or cheese. And that's it.
At breakfast time these are replaced with croissants and three types of cereal in large dispensers.
A bowl of soup is in the left lounge, with rolls.
There are also dishes with olives and crisps, completing the dining options in the Prague Menzies lounge review Terminal 2 Schengen.
Bar
The bar in the Prague Menzies Lounge is basic, with bottles of Pilsner in the fridge. There are bottles of red wine on the worktop, and white in the fridge.
There are also bottles of spirits - five of them, on optics, including Smirnoff Vodka, Beefeater gin, Red Label whisky, Southern Comfort, and the famous Czech spirit called Becherovka. At 40%, avoid before a flight.
There is also a large coffee machine.
