American Airlines Admirals Club Tokyo Lounge

The Tokyo Admirals Club is actually a great lounge with nice enough seating, good views and decent food. The design is quite typical for an Admirals Club: bare, tiled floors, rather harsh chairs, little atmosphere, and rather sterile. Compared to the other lounges, it's quite dull, but it would be amazing if it was a domestic Admiral's club. The American Airlines Tokyo Admirals Club lounge is big and fairly modern, and has quite a few different seating areas. It was revamped a couple of years back, and as such has the new AA seats and desks. There's a big window front with great views of the tarmac, and most of these have desks infront of them so you can prop up with a laptop and and a drink.

Food

Food is surprisingly better than you would expect at the Tokyo Admirals Club. There are for a start hot options, with three silver tubs. There is also sushi, and a fridge with salad.

Bar

The bar is pretty basic in the AA Tokyo lounge, but at least it is there, and all free pour. There are three wine bottles in the tub out at the front. Beer is in the fridge. And there are seven bottles of spirits on the shelf.

Business Facilities

Free wifi in the American Airlines Tokyo Lounge. There are three newspapers racks, and magazines (American and Japanese). There is a small business centre at the back of the lounge with four computers. It's not particularly private however.

Bathrooms

In lounge. Showers.

Access

Access is granted for all AA or onworld passengers holding a Business or First ticket on a oneworld airline, an according frequent flyer status (oneworld Sapphire or Emerald) or an Admirals Club membership. Day passes cost $59, and are available on the door. The American Airlines Admirals Club Tokyo Narita is one of seven different oneworld lounges at Narita Airport: if you have access to get in here, you have access to some much better lounges, such as the Cathay and Qantas Lounges.
