SDS Lagos Lounge

The Lagos SDS Lounge is the main, international, pay in business class lounge at Lagos airport. It's actually not bad, and almost up to international standards, with showers, wifi, a complementary bar, and a large buffet. Plus a huge dormitory like sleeping area.

Lagos SDS lounge review

The SDS Lounge at Lagos airport is fairly basic. Based on three levels, where only levels one and three have a view of the apron. The lower floor is rather small and pokey with basic food and a small selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. The middle floor is bigger, but has no view or windows of any sort. Rather strangely it has several beds at one side, all next to each other dormitory style - for this is the 'snooze zone'. The chairs are comfy, but there is little in the way of charm or luxury. However, there is a good view of the airport apron. The upper floor, with a good view of the apron, is quiet and pleasant, although it is the smoking room, and has a whiff of cigarettes even when there is nobody in there, which is quite often.

Food

Food in the Lagos SDS Lounge is again pretty basic, with just some basic finger food. There are biscuits and other nibbles, but don't expect full pre-flight dining. Oddly, there are trays of prawn crackers with cling film over them to keep the flies off, and a microwave to heat snacks such as samosas and what could loosely be described as mini Cornish pasties.

Bar

There is a complementary bar, but there isn't too much complementary about the wine of dubious quality. It's there, but it is certainly no Concorde Room wine, that's for sure. There are cans of the local Nigerian beer, called 'Star'. There is tea and coffee too.

Bathrooms

There are showers if you want to freshen up but they are more like domestic showers than industrial ones!

SDS Lagos Lounge Access

After Security Checks and Passport Control. Then turn right and the lounge is located after the arts and crafts shops opposite the 'Business Mart' Duty Free Shop.
