Belfast City Airport is a small terminal single-runway airport, just three miles from Belfast in Northern Ireland, around the area's docklands. Very similar in style fo London City airport, it is vastly different in character, and it's part of an aircraft manufacturing facility for Bombardier / Short.

Now known as George Best Belfast City Airport, renamed in memory of the controversial professional footballer, the terminal is small, with a large pub, just a couple of cafes and a shop, plus two airport lounges, it still manages to handle over two million passengers a year, but well shy of the numbers who head through it's larger namesake, Belfast International, on the other side of the city.
Almost all flights are to the UK, mainly on BA or Flybe, but there are a few international flights south of the border.

Belfast Airport TrainThere is a direct Airport Train from Belfast City into the city itself, run by NI Railways. However, due to the infrequent hours of operation, few people use it. It is connected by a footbridge located in front of the airport terminal.
